Beekman resident Eric Pentenrieder was arrested on Friday, March 14 on sexual abuse charges, New York State Police announced.
According to troopers, Pentenrieder had inappropriate contact with two children under the age of 14 between November 2021 and January 2024. The children were not related to him, police said.
Pentenrieder has been charged with the following:
- Forcible touching;
- Second- and third-degree sexual abuse;
- Endangering the welfare of a child;
- First-degree sexual conduct against a child.
Following his arraignment in Beekman Town Court, Pentenrieder was ordered held at the Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 cash bail, $50,000 bond, or a $250,000 fully secured bond. He is scheduled to reappear in court on Wednesday, March 19.
